One of the site admins reverted your star nomination for Madison with the comment "please carefully reread instructions i.e. that nominees go at the bottom of a page and require a nomination rationale" Pashley (talk) 11:51, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
Actually, I have used WikiVoyage since March 2015, but I first went under the name BadgerPacker. I didn't have a email for that account, so I started up GoBucksRutgers. GoBucksRutgers (talk) 14:24, 13 June 2015 (UTC)GoBucksRutgers
- When nominating a guide for star status, you have to offer a rationale for why you think it deserves it. Again, please read the instructions on Wikivoyage:Star nominations carefully. PerryPlanet (talk) 14:47, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, and just by way of skipping some of the intermediate steps of what's going to happen with this nomination, Madison is still quite a ways away from Star status. If you'd like to improve the article, your best bet is to have a look at Wikivoyage:City guide status to familiarize yourself with what is required for an article to be at Star status, make the necessary changes (perhaps using one of Wikivoyage's other star articles as a guide), then nominate the article when you've completed those. Also keep in mind that current consensus holds that Star articles need to have a static map, rather than a dynamic map like the article currently has. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 15:21, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
