Thanks for the page banners you've added - one request however: banners should be a 7:1 width:height ratio, and usually 2100x300 (see Wikivoyage:Banner Expedition#Image size). The goal is to ensure that they display consistently across the site. If you have added an image to an article but the size is wrong, you can add {{crop}} right under the page banner and someone should be able to fix it up for you. Phoebe, I have just changed the banner in South Padre Island article. It is not recommended to use the same custom banners in several articles. There might be some exceptions, but these should be discussed on talk pages. Cheers, Dana --Danapit (talk) 16:01, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Danapit: oK! I changed it because I realized that banner (the pink one) was the wrong size after I uploaded it -- it doesn't look great on a desktop. (It looks great on mobile, FWIW). It's OK though -- just not perfect! Unfortunately I looked pretty thoroughly through all the padre island pictures on commons and there is a shortage of good banner candidates! -- Phoebe (talk) 20:33, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
