[edit]- 1 Monestir de Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Pl. del Monestir.. Mo-Fr 08:30-20:00. is a historic Benedictine monastery in Sant Feliu de Guíxols on the Costa Brava, with origins tracing to the early 10th century. Built atop Roman structures in a naturally protected bay, it served as a fortified coastal stronghold, managing agriculture while offering refuge from pirate raids. The iconic Porta Ferrada—a Romanesque portico between two towers (Torre del Fum and Torre de Corn)—dates from this period and remains the monastery's defining feature. Rebuilt after a 965 Saracen attack, it evolved through Gothic (14th century) and Baroque (18th century) phases before exclaustration in 1835. Today it houses a local history museum.

- 3 Market quare (Plaça del Mercat). serves as the heart of public and economic life in the town. A fruit and vegetable market takes place every morning on the “Plaça”. On Sundays, the weekly market takes place along the Passeig and on the Plaça, a popular meeting place for residents.
- 4 Passeig del Mar. Opened in 1833, the seafront promenade was built between the medieval town and the sea. Little by little, the humble homes of fishermen from the medieval era were replaced by stately homes. Today, the area's architecture is mostly modern; because of real estate, many of the mansions are gone and condominiums have replaced them.
- 5 Casino la Constància, Rambla del Portalet. constructed in 1888 by the architect General Guitart. It is also known as Casino dels nois.
- 6 Old railway station, Carrer d'Enric Heriz. designed by architects Rafael Coderch and Gabriel March and built between 1889 and 1892, which served the line from Sant Feliu de Guíxols to Girona. It was used until 1969, and now serves as a public school.
- 7 History museum of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Plaça Monestir s/n. The museum has an extensive collection of articles related to the town's history, from archaeology, to the cork industry and the town's relationship with the sea. Exhibits also include paintings by local artists, such as Josep Albertí, as well as an area devoted to health. Restoration work has opened up spaces for visitors, such as the Romanesque towers of El Fum and el Corn, which flank the unique Pre-Romanesque façade of the Porta Ferrada (Iron Door) and the Palau de l'Abat (Abbot's Palace) areas, with rooms for temporary exhibitions
- 8 The Toy Museum, Rambla Vidal 48-50, ☏ +34 972 822 249, [email protected].
- 9 The Maritime Rescue Museum. visits by appointment. At the end of the 19th century, a Local Shipment Rescue Board was created based on volunteering to help sailors and fishermen. In 1886, it was constituted as a subsidiary of the "Sociedad Española de Salvamento de Náufragos" and promoted the construction of the rescue station with boats and rescue equipment. In 1940 the rescue of wrecked ships was in the hands of the Navy, and in 1971 it was part of the Creu Roja del Mar. The rescue station was no longer used due to its height above sea level.
