Santo Domingo is a municipality of the Philippines in Albay province, adjacent to the provincial capital, Legazpi and alongside the Legazpi-Tiwi coastal road. Resorts along the Santo Domingo coastline offer a wonderful view of the black beach.

The town was once called Libog, but it was renamed Santo Domingo in 1959. It is the birthplace of the famous classic Bicolano song, Sarong Banggi, composed by Potenciano Gregorio.

[edit]The nearest airport is in Daraga (DRP IATA).
By land
[edit]There are buses from Manila to Santo Domingo, stopping also at other towns and cities along the way, and there are also jeepneys from Legazpi at Legazpi Grand Central Terminal right in front of SM City Legazpi.
Get around
[edit]Around the town center there are pedicabs while tricycles are available heading to the outlying barangays.
