I have previously created an alternative banner for this article (which was initially created for the parallel article at the Hebrew Wikivoyage, but I decided to suggest we'll use it here at the English Wikivoyage article as well).   • I don't understand the objection to cylindrical projections. I don't think that is a policy. I think that the existing banner is awful, and prefer any of 2, 3 or 4 to it. 3 is my preferred choice. Those who don't like the choices so far are welcome to propose alternatives.
