Districts section from article

[edit]

Just in case there's some useful information to be gleaned from it. There is no reason to start district articles until there is an overwhelming amount of content in this city article. Add content to the city article for now! If it does start to get overwhelming, we can revisit the question of whether to divide it into district articles.

    Suqian City

    [edit]
      Shuyang County
A major county of Suqian City, known for its rich agricultural resources and historical sites. It is famous as the "Home of Flowers and Trees" in China.
      Siyang County
Renowned for rice cultivation and freshwater fisheries, the area is home to many ecological tourist attractions.
      Sihong County
Centered around Hongze Lake, Sihong is famous for its ecological reserve and wetland parks.
      Suqian Economic Development Zone
An economic zone that integrates commerce, industry, and high technology, serving as an important economic engine for Suqian City.
      Suqian City Centre
The central district of Suqian, featuring shopping centers, hotels, government offices, and cultural attractions.

    Some suggestions

    [edit]

You are doing a great job and it is very worthwhile for me to learn from you. If you can, I would also appreciate some suggestions for my longquanyi.

Secondly, I noticed that some of the list items are not accurately incorporated into the map.

Unlike Wikipedia, Wikivoyage is, after all, a website of a tourist nature. I think that if your aim is to produce a Wikipedia, then such content is very good indeed.

However, if the words in the actual wiki guide are not clearly labeled with the location, I think it not only reduces readability for the reader,Secondly it reduces the overall aesthetics and professionalism of the wikivoyage.

    A personal suggestion:

For example, in the food section, I see that there is a range of delicacies such as crystal hawthorn cake,

So you could search for the appropriate stores and add them to the map.

    Thanks bro. Peter011008 (talk) 12:43, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

    Excellent suggestion, Peter011008! Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:44, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Errors to be corrected by authors

    [edit]

@CHEN HEBING, LJY2455: thank you for the improvements you have made to this article. Here are some ways you can make it better:

    1. the first paragraph of an article should explain why a reader would want to visit a place. What makes it interesting, beyond just that it is a resort town?
    2. We know that the places listed are in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, because the article is called "Suqian". In English Wikivoyage, it is incorrect to include the city name in addresses in listings, unless the listing is in a different city (i.e., not in Suqian).
    3. In China articles, we always use the 24-hour clock (09:00-18:00), not the 12-hour clock (9AM-5PM). See the box at the top of Talk:China.
    4. We write prices as "¥1,000", not "CNY1,000" or "1,000 RMB".
    5. We always include the country code in front of phone numbers, i.e., +82

Please make these changes. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 12:11, 8 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
