Peer Review

[edit]

Hello, I am a student taking the course "Understanding Small and Big Data with Wikis" this semester.

I have carefully reviewed the article and I would like to provide a feedback.

I noticed a small error in the geographical informationsmall error in the geographical information regarding the bordering cities in the opening paragraph. Currently, the article states that Chungju and Eumsong are located on the "nothe side" (likely a typo for 'north'), but geographically, these two cities actually border Yeoju to the south. This discrepancy also conflicts with the information provided later in the 'Go next' section and could be confusing for readers.

Therefore, I kindly suggest correcting the sentence "Chungju and Eumsong is to the nothe side." to "Chungju and Eumsong is to the south side." IN GWANG EUN (talk) 13:06, 30 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

I fix it. Please check it. Wkddmstjr05240524 (talk) 14:19, 30 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello!

This 'Yeoju' article is having a good start and already contains many useful listings and basic transport data, but I think there is some points improve.

I believe the article could be improved further by refining traffic details (for example: typical cost/time from Seoul or Incheon Airport), ensuring all phone numbers include the country code (+82), and adding a little more “traveller tip” language (such as best time to visit or what to avoid).

Thanks again for your work!

@Wkddmstjr05240524: Thank you for the improvements you have made to this article. The first paragraph of an article should explain why a reader would want to visit a place. What makes it interesting? Ground Zero (talk) 14:12, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have revised the introduction according to your feedback. Thank you for your helpful comments. Wkddmstjr05240524 (talk) 13:04, 12 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Qustion for the adding pub in Yeoju

[edit]
Swept in from the pub

Hello, I'm develpoing yeoju. There were many parts missing from the article. So I add See / Do / Eat.

When writing the Eat section, I referred to the restaurants recommended on the official Yeoju City Hall website. However, I'm not sure what criteria I should use when writing the Bar section. Wkddmstjr05240524 (talk) 04:32, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Have you ever visited or lived in that area? If you have, I suggest putting your favorite restaurants or other places in the article. Sometimes I will write things like this:
  • Lee's Golden Restaurant. Very good barbecue. Short walk from subway. The staff speak only Korean.
  • Ko's Family Restaurant. Good place for families with children.
  • Kim's Tourist Restaurant. American food. All waiters speak English.
  • Chong's Little Flower Restaurant. Small restaurant with just five tables, but very good jajangmyeon noodles. If you don't speak Korean, just point at the pictures on the menu.
This way you can help different people find the best restaurant for what they want. WhatamIdoing (talk) 05:40, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
In addition to what WhatamIdoing mentioned (which is really good advice), we don't really any any objective criteria for what restaurants are listed. If a restaurant is noticeably bad then yes it does make sense to omit it (see WV:ANR), but otherwise please do plunge forward! //shb (t | c | m) 23:49, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
