I grew up in the 
United States, moving from state to state, so I have good travel knowledge of most of the West and Mississippi River regions of the US. I spend a lot of time in 
New Mexico, so I write often on the Northern and Central regions. I like to edit the pages on more general knowledge of the country, while I tend to be adverse to editing specific places unless I have been there and/or see that info on that page is blatantly false.
I am currently living in 
Tajikistan, so I will be editing that country's pages most often for the foreseeable future.
As a traveler I very much prefer to go to niche and "weird" places off the tourist trail (I don't like tourists when I'm a tourist), so a large part of my travel wish list is less-traveled countries (or places within more popular destinations).
