Hello, CHAEBIN89! Thank you for contributing to Wikivoyage, but please note that one or more of your recent edits has been reverted as it appeared to be an attempt to use this site to advertise or promote a business or service. Wikivoyage is created by travellers for travellers, and while business owners and employees are welcome to contribute, use of this site for promotional purposes is not allowed.

If you feel that your edits were incorrectly identified as promotional, please read Wikivoyage's guidelines on identifying promotional edits. If, after reading that guideline, you still feel your edits were incorrectly removed, please use this talk page or the talk page of the article where your edit was removed to explain why your change was not promotional. Note that it is very important that you discuss your proposed change before re-adding it since repeated promotional edits can lead to a temporary block of your account's ability to edit Wikivoyage, and in serious cases the business in question may be blacklisted from Wikivoyage.

Hello! The website I added to the edit is the official page operated by Daejeon City, Korea for foreign tourists. I added this link because I hope that foreign tourists will get good information for Daejeon tourism. CHAEBIN89 (talk) 00:07, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
OK, my mistake, but the place to put that link - the general one to the Tourist Information Center - is in a "Tourist information" subsection of "Understand", where you can specify what services they provide. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:13, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for kind feedback! CHAEBIN89 (talk) 00:32, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing. Looking at some of your other edits, I'd recommend for you to look at Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians, Wikivoyage:Tone and Wikivoyage:Copyleft. Your remarks about climate look too encyclopedic and probably copied and pasted verbatim from Wikipedia. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:02, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I reverted your edits on Gunpo. They just are not relevant for travellers. Did you copy that text from somewhere? It looks like you did. You must not copy and paste without attribution. Ground Zero (talk) 01:28, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Calling codes

[edit]

Hello! I hope I didn't cause any issues to your article editing a minute ago when I made an edit to Miryang. I fixed the phone number.

You need to add the calling code (in South Korea this is +82) and then a space before any phone numbers you add to listings. This is because anyone from outside South Korea needs that +82 code in order to call a South Korean phone number. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 00:32, 22 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
