Hello! Nice that you joint the Banner Expedition and started creating page banners. However, I would like to discourage you from distorting pictures while creating banners. Cropping and post-processing is fine, but not totally changing the proportions of the original file. Hi. Thanks again for your great work! Don't get too enthusiastic about linking to Wikipedia articles, though. This site's external links policy (see in particular external links#what not to link to) is to have a single link to Wikipedia at the very end of each article, which appears in the sidebar on the left side of the article under "Related sites." So, for example, for Donetsk, that would be w:Donetsk, and no other Wikipedia article would be linked in that article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:55, 1 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I just looked at the edit. We used to link the official tourism site in the lede. Nowadays, we put it in a "Tourism information" subsection of "Understand", instead, but it's completely understandable for a long-term user not to know that. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:15, 30 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
