To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines, style, and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

There are two things that would make your contributions better:

1. in the article on Zhengzhou, Henan Province, we don't put "Zhengzhou, Henan Province" in the addresses of listings -- the reader already knows that its in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
2. please use the listing templates. These help to organize the information better. They are the little pictures at the top of your edit screen -- use the shopping cart for "Buy" listings, the knife and fork for "Eat" listings, and so on.

This is not about your intentions but about what you did. This is pure touting, and probably copied and pasted word for word from the hotel's site, violating its copyright:

"Located in the Donggang Business District, it boasts stunning harbor views, spacious guest rooms, a fine dining Chinese and Western restaurant, and an infinity pool. Ideal for both business and luxury travelers."

Moreover, there should not be any specific listings in the Dalian article, anyway, only in the district articles linked in the Dalian#Districts section. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:00, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
