Talk
[edit]Thank you very much for your great edits to the Tam Ky article! My edit summary was truncated, and I merely wanted to make the minor point that directions (west, northwest and the like) are not generally capitalised on this site. But that's no big deal! Please carry on!
All the best,
Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:27, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
- thanks, cheers! Pbaribeau (talk) 13:00, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
Location of listings
[edit]Thanks again for your work here.
In the Bonavista article, so far, none of the points of interest have any location information. That means anyone wanting to access them would have to consult another guide or ask people for directions. So if you know where these places are, please add the information, either as lat/long and/or as street addresses.
All the best,
Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:55, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- If only my computer and connection didn't keep crashing, I wouldn't have to re-write the page 50 times! Day-by-day, I'll get there :( Pbaribeau (talk) 22:03, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Bummer! Understood. Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:05, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Do you have a bot watching for style errors? Or are you just super enthusiastic about watching me? Pbaribeau (talk) 22:27, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Neither. Please have a look at Wikivoyage:Recent changes patrol. Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:00, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
Time and date formatting
[edit]Thank you for your excellent work on Lion's Head article. The Wikivoyage community has chosen time and date formats to make it easier for travellers to find information. Here are some key points from that policy (WV:TDF):
- Use one of these formats: 09:30–17:00 or 9:30AM–5PM. Do not use both 24- and 12-hour formats within one article. Choose between formats by following predominant local usage. Ask yourself which format visitors will see in timetables, on shop doors and in newspapers.
24-hour format:
- Use 00:00 for midnight and 12:00 for noon.
12-hour format:
- Use upper case "AM" and "PM".
- Use noon and midnight, not 12PM and 12AM.
Days of the week:
- Abbreviate to the minimum number of letters – M Tu W Th F Sa Su – in lists and where space is short.
- When combining days with time, put the days first: M–F 10AM–2PM, not 10AM–2PM M–F.
