If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub tagging → Article status

Correct Typos in One Click Feedback
[edit]Hi Uziel302. I have found the tool to be very useful. Thank you for creating it! One issue I've had is that when I try to use the tool quickly, I get a "paragraph is missing" message. For example, if I click on "Replace" for one spelling and then click "Remove" the Remove will not work. Whatever I click the second time, it will not work. - Gizza, it happens when going top down, have you tried going bottom up? I use paragraph number so if you remove one paragraph all beneath it will get new number.Uziel302 (talk) 13:00, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

- I see. I seem to remember the discussion about database dumps before and that it's a while before each new dump is made available. I'll keep up on the work fixing typos, though I don't really edit on WP at the moment. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:36, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

Temporary account IP viewer
[edit]Hello, Uziel302.
A recent change now means that all IP addresses are no longer visible to most ordinary users. However, as per WMF policy, any user who has made at least 300 edits with an account older than 6 months may request the temporary account IP viewer (TAIV) permission to view IP addresses of all temporary accounts for up to 90 days. You are receiving this mass message because your account is autopatrolled, or has patroller and/or template editor permissions, and have over 300 edits, and thus are likely eligible to request this permission.
Guidelines surrounding the use of the tool can be found at Wikivoyage:Temporary account IP viewer; if granted, you must also accept the WMF policy in your preferences.
TAIV permissions can be requested at Wikivoyage:Temporary account IP viewer/Requests, or on any admin's talk page.
