[edit]This document is a very good starting point for a travel guide about Ruzhou. The overall structure is clear and the use of headings like "History" and "Climate" is helpful for readers. The content about Ruzhou's history, especially the "Three Treasures" and Ru porcelain, is detailed and interesting. Also, the climate section is strong and includes useful charts in both Celsius and Imperial conversions. This shows careful work on data inclusion.
However, the document still needs some important information to be a complete travel guide. Several key sections, such as "Buy," "Eat," "Drink," and "Sleep," are empty right now. You should add local specialties or hotel options in these areas to help future visitors. Additionally, the dialect examples on page three are a bit confusing. For instance, the translation of "Eating Mou" is clear, but the second example seems like a strange phrase for a dialect list. I recommend checking the accuracy of these specific translations. Consider adding more activities to the "Do" section, like visiting the hot springs or parks mentioned in the introduction. Filling in these empty parts will make this guide much more practical and useful for tourists. Good work on the strong beginning! Jaewon911 (talk) 05:22, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
- Why does this article's map show sights in Fujian and Vietnam? Ground Zero (talk) 13:21, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
- These three sites do not show up in Ruzhou on the map:
- 1 Fengxue Temple and Tallinn (风穴寺及塔林), Fengxue Temple and Tallinn are located in Huangzhuang Village, Qiling Township, Ruzhou City, Henan Province (Departing from Ruzhou Railway Station, passing through Shuangyong Road, Dream Avenue, and Guliang Avenue to arrive; The entire journey is 11.1 kilometers and takes about 22 minutes), ☏ +86-375-697-9077. 8:00-20;00.
- 2 Faxing Temple Pagoda (法行寺塔), No. 20 Tashi Street, Ruzhou City, Pingdingshan City (Self driving: Departing from the People's Government of Ruzhou City, the journey is about 1.1 kilometers and takes about 3 minutes to arrive.).
- 3 Ruzhou Confucian Temple (汝州文庙).

- Obviously the coordinates are wrong. The URLs also need to be changed or deleted. We don't link to Baidu Baike or Chinese Wikipedia. STW932 (talk) 06:29, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
I am removing this again because the map shows that it is not in Ruzhou. Ground Zero (talk) 20:57, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
- May I ask if there are still any issues with the "attraction introduction" section of the Ruzhou tourism guide? 小太阳888 (talk) 14:44, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- 1 Ruzhou Confucian Temple (汝州文庙), No. 65 Wangsong Middle Road (public transportation: Bus routes 3, 5, 7, and 22). 08:00-18:00.
Why is there an entry for "3 Best Hotels in Vienna"?
[edit]What is that a mistranslation of? Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:07, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- The "3 Good" in the name "Vienna 3 Good Hotels" usually refers to hotels that meet the standards of "good" in terms of cost-effectiveness, comfort, and service experience. It is a brand under the Vienna Hotel Group that focuses on the mass market and economic comfort. It is positioned at the level of quasi three stars to three stars, providing a better (more comfortable and elegant) accommodation experience than fast hotels, but at a more affordable price than high star hotels. 小太阳888 (talk) 14:42, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- OK, that's fine, they're just not in Vienna. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:30, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Please review my article on RuZhou and let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback. Thank you. 小太阳888 (talk) 15:29, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- @小太阳888: please add descriptions for the listings that don't have them in sections such as "Buy", "Eat", and "Drink". Make sure all parentheses are formatted using ().
- In the section "Parks" you have several quotes. Where are these quotes from? A website? We don't use citations on Wikivoyage, so if these come from a source such as a website, I'm not sure we can use those quotes.
- Make sure headings and subheadings conform to Wikivoyage:Big city article template. Subheadings should be "By taxi", "By car", etc., not numbered as you have written them in "Get around". --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 17:47, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- I have made some modifications according to your suggestion, please review. In the "Park" section, the quoted text is sourced from content on Baidu Baike in China. Thank you for your suggestion. 小太阳888 (talk) 22:27, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- @ 小太阳888: Thanks, I'll review your edits. As for Baidu Baike, I don't know what license they use, but it perhaps isn't the Creative Commons license that allows for free use of their content. Therefore I think we'll need to delete that quoted text. I have not heard of the wiki before, so it's hard for me to say for sure but I'd rather we err on the side of caution. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 23:00, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- @小太阳888: I went through your edits. The article is better, but it needs some improvements. The subheadings should be: "By taxi", "By bike", and "By public transit". Please add descriptions for all the listings in "Drink". --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 23:53, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- There are also some vague headings and sections that I think are lost in translation. Terms like "functional composite type" don't make sense in headings. Make the headings shorter, and more to the point: instead of "Large scale comprehensive ecological park (5 locations, functional composite type)" just put "Ecological parks", etc. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 23:55, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

- According to your suggestion, I have made revisions again. I am not sure if the changes are correct. Please review them. As for the references in the park section, it is not very clear which places need to be deleted. If you have time, please let me know. Thank you very much. 小太阳888 (talk) 04:27, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
- @小太阳888: You've done the right things, don't worry. The article looks much better. My remaining request would be to use the {{event}} template for the listings of festivals. Please convert the festival listings to events when you get the chance.
- I've upgraded the article to guide status, as the article overall looks excellent. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 04:32, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
- I've made some adjustments to the "Parks" section to make the prose feel more natural. Let me know if, in the process of doing so, I've missed something from the original text. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 04:40, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

I have read through the Ruzhou article and think the overall structure is clear and informative.
One possible improvement is that the **Do** section could be made more concrete by listing specific places or activities (for example, naming particular parks, temples, or venues) rather than general descriptions. This may help travelers better understand what they can actually do on site.
In addition, for some places mentioned in **See**, adding an external reference (such as an official website or another reliable source) where available could strengthen the credibility of the listings.
Overall, the article already contains useful local information, and these are just minor suggestions to improve clarity and usability for travelers. SUN JIAYI's (talk) 16:15, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, but for the sake of the author of the article, I'd have to disagree on a few of these points. There are numerous specific places listed in "Do". If I have any criticism, it's that there are too many places listed (23). I wouldn't add more.
- I agree that adding links to the websites of places in "See" would be helpful, but keep in mind we don't use references to secondary sources on Wikivoyage. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 17:08, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
