Welcome and some important questions
[edit]Hello 小太阳888! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub tagging → article status
It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the Wikivoyage:Travellers' pub, as a reply below or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!
Can you tell us where you got all this text from? Are you copying and pasting stuff in violation of Wikivoyage:Copyleft? Also, please remember that this is a travel guide, not an encyclopedia, and look at articles in Category:Star articles to get a sense of what style and content we are looking for in ledes (introductions), "Understand" sections and so on. Finally, PLEASE DON'T USE ALL CAP TEXT! The city you're writing about is Ruzhou, not RUZHOU.
After you've read the links I've given you and reread the directions your professor gave you, if you have any questions, please ask them below. Thanks very much.
All the best,

- I've reverted your last series of edits. Please read this edit summary. Have a look at Wikivoyage:Listings and at the "See" section of any bottom-level article (park articles and most city articles, for example) in Category:Star articles or Category:Guide articles, so you can understand what information you need to put in "See" listings.
