I have previously created an alternative banner for this article (which was initially created for the parallel article at the Hebrew Wikivoyage, but I decided to suggest we'll use it here at the English Wikivoyage article as well). I think the current one is more the way I remember Syracuse. If another one would be desirable, I think something with an ancient monument (Greek theater?) would be better than the aireal view. --FredTC (talk) 17:47, 13 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

• I find banner 3, about half land and half sea and nicely lit, the most appealing. #4 is my 2nd choice. #2 is a pretty panorama, but it's a little dark and I don't think it's quite as appealing to look at as #3 and #4.
