To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.
I appreciate that you've plunged forward right away, but I have to say that continent and multi-country region articles are really not the best places to do things like unilaterally changing "South Asia" to "southern Asia". Most of your changes are being reverted, pending a discussion on the talk pages of the articles.
All the best,

- Good articles to start for new contributors are city articles about places you know well. There, you can get more experience about how to contribute, formatting, how things work on Wikivoyage, etc. Welcome to Wikivoyage. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 02:30, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
- Another piece of advice I'd add, also having looked at your Wikipedia contributions: neither site is the correct place to w:WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS. We both have our forms of sticking to consensus, and this is a good thing, not a bad one. I hope you can come to appreciate this. ARR8 (talk) 02:32, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
It would be good if non-admins could prevent any clutter on my page. Thank you.
- You're really proving to be unreasonable here. You've now deleted ARR8's comment, and deleting comments in this fashion is not allowed on WV. No one is cluttering your page; this is a user talk page, and people have a right to express opinions (especially those related to you) here. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 02:41, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
- No, I simply believe ARR8 is getting way too involved here because I am having a conversation with three people. You probably haven't thought of that though. And I seriously don't need someone who wasn't involved in the first place to star going at me. We all have a right to express opinions of course. Would you like it if I went to your talk page and randomly wrote that you are a bad admin without any justification and then you delete it. After all, it is an opinion that has been expressed.
- To my understanding, you can go as far as blanking your user talk page if you so choose, but it's certainly an indication of a bad attitude. You don't seem to understand what a user talk page is - this isn't your page; it's the page where any other user can communicate with you. But I feel like it's a waste of time to explain things to you. I'm very likely to nominate you for a user ban tonight, if you don't shape up really fast. - (edit conflict) Terri, I don't want to be unreasonably mean about this, because I've sometimes myself have gone on long discussions to prove a point. That's why I've given you plenty of opportunities to take back what you are saying. But if you don't, and you continue to act like this, it's in the best interests of Wikivoyage to add a block for a few days to your Wikivoyage account. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 02:58, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
Take back what I was saying? I didn't say anything wrong. I think you've realised that. All I said was ARR8 was getting to involved. No one said it's my page. But you are cluttering ME with messages which I am tired of replying to three people saying the same thing. Indication of bad attitude, don't get me started. This all happened simply because you went off on a tangent simply because I said the West Asia thing was a whim reversion because you yourself didn't know the term.
- You've crossed the line. See Wikivoyage:User_ban_nominations#User:TerrierChicken. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 03:12, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
