Welcome

Thank you for you contributions to the Yongin article. Please remember that in the article about Yongin, we don't include "Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do" in the addresses of listings. It's obvious. Please correct your mistakes. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 06:29, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Ydaeun0306: you must remove "Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do" from the listings. This is Wikivoyage style. Ground Zero (talk) 07:04, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please see my comment at Talk:Hongseong, and please stop adding the city and province names in listings. It is wrong. Ground Zero (talk) 17:39, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concerns regarding the inclusion of detailed address names in listings. However, when contributing to Wikivoyage, we aim to maintain clarity and precision, especially for travelers unfamiliar with local geography. Including the district or province (even if redundant to locals) ensures consistency and avoids confusion, particularly when the same or similar place names exist in multiple locations across Korea.
Additionally, such detailed information helps travelers using GPS services or map applications, ensuring they arrive at the correct destination without issues. For these reasons, the inclusion of “Jongno-gu, Seoul” in Hyehwa listings or “Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do” in Hongseong content is not only appropriate but also helpful.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration! Ydaeun0306 (talk) 05:39, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ydeaunp306, thank you for your thoughful and well-written response. The Wikivoyage community has discussed this issue, and decided not to include the city, province and country for listings that are in the city that the article is about. The policy is here: Wikivoyage:Listings. You can propose changes to the policy on Wikivoyage talk:Listings. But until the policy is changed, please respect the decision of the Wikivoyage community. Thank you for your contributions to this project. Ground Zero (talk) 07:06, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
    I understand, and I'll change it, Thank you. Ydaeun0306 (talk) 05:43, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
NGL this response seems like it has been put through AI with the "However, when contributing to Wikivoyage, we aim to maintain clarity and precision, especially for travelers unfamiliar with local geography. Including the district or province (even if redundant to locals) ensures consistency and avoids confusion, particularly when the same or similar place names exist in multiple locations across Korea" – if you haven't used AI, I stand corrected, but if you have, note that this isn't well received. --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 07:11, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your comment. I didn't use AI, but I'm not good at English, so I think I made you think that. Ydaeun0306 (talk) 05:43, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please make this correction on Yecheon. Ground Zero (talk) 16:00, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Ydaeun0306: In Wikivoyage, we write prices in Korea articles like this: "₩5,000", not "KRW 5,000" or 5,000₩". Please correct your mistakes. Ground Zero (talk) 12:11, 11 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ydaeun0306, Hanyangprofessor2: why do you continue to edit these srticles without correcting your errors? Ground Zero (talk) 02:07, 12 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry but I need enough time because I have to correct a lot of errors, but don't worry that, I'm correcting. Furthermore I have to do my assingment of editing articles. Ydaeun0306 (talk) 04:01, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ydaeun0306 Please correct errors first and avoid repeating them. Remember that repeating errors can lead to your account being blocked, and failing the assignment. Hanyangprofessor2 (talk) 07:27, 17 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
    I see. I corrected the errors and I won't repeat that. Ydaeun0306 (talk) 05:36, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
