    Hello, WANGYIZHE1124! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.

Please do not use icons, as you did here. We would all appreciate if you deleted them. If you don't, someone else will have to delete them all. Thanks.

    Best,

Also, please read Wikivoyage:Don't tout and Wikivoyage:Copyleft in relation to this edit. You should not copy promotional content from other websites. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:17, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Articles in Wikivoyage follow a standard format to make it easier for readers to find information quickly. Your edits to Menghai made a mess of the formatting of the article. Please read Wikivoyage:Section headers and correct the formatting of the article. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 12:18, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

@WANGYIZHE1124: please correct your errors. It is not the job of others editors to correct your errors. Ground Zero (talk) 03:00, 5 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

    In the Menghai article:

    • You must correct the section headings. See Wikivoyage:Section headers.
      • We do not use numbered lists as sections headings.
    • Do not use boldfacing in section headings and sub-headings.
      • You must correct the capitalization of headings and sub-headings -- see wv:capitalization.
    • The page banner must be in the ratio 7:1. See Wikivoyage:Banners.
    • For prices in China, we write: "¥100", not "RMB 100".

It is your job tp correct these errors. Ground Zero (talk) 12:06, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for making corrections. Ground Zero (talk) 13:00, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

@WANGYIZHE1124, Hanyangprofessor2: your edits here and here do not follow Wikivoyage style. Look at other articles to see how we format articles in Wikivoyage. Hiroshima is a "star article", so it is a good example to follow.

Here are some of the problems with your recent edits:

    • We do not usually use numbered lists in articles -- please clean up the Get around, Get in, Do, Buy and Eat sections.
    • You are not following the rules for capitalization in English.
    • You must use the templates for listings, especially for hotel listings.

Please correct your errors, or I may remove your edits. Ground Zero (talk) 12:01, 23 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

    ok, I will correct it. WANGYIZHE1124 (talk) 00:58, 24 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

@WANGYIZHE1124, Hanyangprofessor2: I have corrected your formatting errors in the Xingyi to show you how articles should look in Wikivoyage. Please look at what I have done to make this follow that same style as other Wikivoyage articles, and correct your errors on Hailar and Langzhong. Ground Zero (talk) 13:09, 24 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

As your professor says: "Common error to avoid: you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing but do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name." In Xingyi, you must remove "Xingyi City" from addresses.Ground Zero (talk) 14:39, 24 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Ground Zero Agreed. @WANGYIZHE1124 Please let me know when you fix this and I'll update your score. Hanyangprofessor2 (talk) 01:48, 25 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
