Europe attracts more tourists than any other continent, and there are many ways of visiting the continent. This list includes itineraries that explore Europe by theme, mode of transportation, and region.

There are three unrelated systems of European long-distance routes that each use similar codes (or "European Route [number]"): European highways (E1–E982), European long-distance walking routes (E1–E12) and EuroVelo cycling routes (EV1–EV19). For walking, there is also the Grande Randonnée network of long-distance trails. Then, most highways and trails, and itineraries listed below, don't belong to these schemes, but may belong to a national or regional one.
