Hi. Why would you create a stub article about a place not to visit? Deleted. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:22, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
- Okay thats quite rude and also its a warning to those in the area. "Bureaucrat" Maroontruths (talk) 20:31, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
- You don't create a travel article for a place you can't travel to. Is it possible to go there by accident? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:52, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
- Ill recreate the page, and yes it is possible, there are still roads. Maroontruths (talk) 15:47, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- This time the page wont be about a place you cant travel to. Maroontruths (talk) 15:47, 7 October 2025 (UTC)

Unblock me please
[edit]Ibaman reverts all my edits, often with no reason and he said im not here to build a travel guide when i have created various pages for travel guides and added info to pages Maroontruths (talk) 20:27, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi, please take a moment to read WV:WIAA as these two articles you just created fail the criteria. Theme parks do not typically get their own article on Wikivoyage unless they are so major that they warrant one. //shb (t | c | m) 09:36, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, I saw disney world and thought theme parks got their page. I will keep this in mind thank you. Maroontruths (talk) 09:37, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah WDW is a bit of an exception on this site tbh. //shb (t | c | m) 09:42, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- To be fair it is bigger than the vatican and has its own zoning laws Maroontruths (talk) 09:43, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- I mean, the Vatican doesn't get its own article here either – Rome/Vatican includes a few nearby districts, too. shb (t | c | m) 09:51, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Has anyone attempted to make one? Maroontruths (talk) 09:54, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Wouldn't make much sense to from a travel perspective. //shb (t | c | m) 09:56, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

I have changed a lot of the formatting to bring this article in line with Wikivoyage:Manual of Style. It still needs more work. Listings in city articles must use listing templates. We only use markers to identify places in region articles. (I have added Skelmersdale to the Lancashire article so that readers can find the place.) I converted many of the listings to templates, and ask that you do the rest. Also, we usually add address information for listings, and hours of operation. This is useful information for travellers, and would ge a big improvement to the article. Ground Zero (talk) 11:44, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, you have helped the article a lot! Maroontruths (talk) 11:45, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
New articles
[edit]Please use the Wikivoyage:Article skeleton templates to create new articles. These make it easier for you, and help you to avoid formatting errors.
For headings within articles, don't capitalise every word. Capitalisation only the first word (and poper nouns) like you would in writing a sentence, so "Stay healthy",not "Stay Healthy".
Page banners just be in the dimensions 7:1. Wikivoyage:Banners explains how you can crop any picture in the Wikimedia Commons to the correct size. It takes several steps, but it is quite easy to do. The pictures you are using are not the correct dimensions and may be removed. Ground Zero (talk) 12:12, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Okay im cropping them all now Maroontruths (talk) 12:52, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- sorry for all the mistakes I make im a new user Maroontruths (talk) 12:52, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

Don't move pages without discussion
[edit]I realize the name of the country has been changed from Turkey to Türkiye, but you can't move pages like that without discussion. If you think the name should be changed, you need to raise that at Talk:Turkey. I would actually support the move at this stage, but that's beside the point: page moves shouldn't be made without consensus. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 19:21, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- I have raised the point now Maroontruths (talk) 20:19, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
You don't get to decide who's involved in discussions involving you
[edit]And the sooner you drop the crap toward me, the easier it will be for you. If you persist in being antagonistic toward me for no good reason, watch what decisions other admins will make about you as a disruptive and misbehaving user. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:25, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
Time and date formatting
[edit]The Wikivoyage community has chosen time and date formats to make it easier for travellers to find information. Here are some key points from that policy (WV:time):
- Use one of these formats: 09:30–17:00 or 9:30AM–5PM. Do not use both 24- and 12-hour formats within one article. Choose between formats by following predominant local usage, e.g., 12-hour format in the UK, US, English Canada; 24-hour format in Europe, Quebec, most of Asian and Latin America. Check the formatting box at the top of the talk page of the country, e.g, Talk:United Kingdom.
24-hour format:
- Use 00:00 for midnight and 12:00 for noon.
12-hour format:
- Use upper case "AM" and "PM".
- Use noon and midnight, not 12PM and 12AM.
Days of the week:
- Abbreviate to the minimum number of letters – M Tu W Th F Sa Su – in lists and where space is short.
- When combining days with time, put the days first: M–F 10AM–2PM, not 10AM–2PM M–F.
Thanks for your cooperation. Ground Zero (talk) 01:46, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
